Dr. Amanda Farley
I am so very fortunate to be a dentist. Every day I am able to fix problems, improve lives, and connect with people from all different backgrounds.
I get up in the morning and am genuinely excited to see my patients and my staff, and happy to interact with everyone while improving people’s health.
Some people dread visiting a dentist: my team and I work hard to make our office a place where people can relax and laugh during a procedure. I love making each person feel comfortable and explaining what we’ll be doing as a way to educate and take away their fears.
Communication is an integral part of what I do. Talking with people, listening to their stories and learning about what has gone into shaping the person in my chair is one of my favorite parts of my job – not to mention creating healthy, long-lasting, beautiful smiles!
Sometimes I feel as though a simple conversation can be more helpful than the dentistry I end up performing.
My goal in dentistry is to make sure you, as the patient, know all of your options: the good, the bad, and the ugly. One of the most important responsibilities of my job is to educate you so you can make informed decisions about your oral health. I encourage you to ask as many questions as you like: my team and I are thrilled to answer!

EDUCATION
- Oakdale High School, 2005
- Undergraduate studies, California State University Chico, 2010
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery, University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, 2013

The University of the Pacific educates their dental students to always treat patients with evidence-based dentistry. Dentistry is ever-evolving, with new products, new techniques, and new philosophies. It is critical that dentists stay current on these developments, else they are doing a disservice to their patients.
Dr. Farley’s goal is to provide her patients with the best dental experience, using proven techniques and technology, always tailored to each person’s unique needs. In order to do this, she regularly completes continuing education courses at conferences, attends lectures and seminars, and participates in study clubs.

BEYOND THE OFFICE
Dr. Farley grew up in Oakdale and recently purchased a home in Ceres with her boyfriend, Andrew, who is a commercial pilot. They are excited to have a backyard for Lady and Birdie, their fur children who keeps the couple laughing and covered with licks!
When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Farley loves flying around the West Coast. Andrew is a licensed pilot and the family often grabs Lady and heads off for an adventure at the drop of a hat. They’ve flown to Canada, San Diego, Scottsdale, and Reno on longer trips. They love hopping over to Half Moon Bay during the warmer months to cool off for a few hours and escape the Central Valley heat. They also enjoy gardening, scuba diving and eating at new places of all kinds.
